The evolution of people

When I say the evolution of people I don’t mean how we humans came into being from ancient apes, rather our evolution with the people around us.

2020 had been quite an enlightening year for me in terms of relationships and so here’s me sharing some wisdom:

  1. “As you grow up your circle of friends gets smaller and smaller until you’re left with the truest, closest ones.” I’m sure you have heard this saying more times than you can count. I always understood this saying but very recently I experienced it. I have come to the realization that not everybody is going to help you grow and not everyone is a friend. I saw a post on Instagram that said that we seriously need to normalize using words like acquaintances, colleagues, etc, NOT EVERYONE IS YOUR FRIEND.

As time goes on I only want the truest of friends who are actually going to put in the same effort into a relationship that I am, who are going to help me be the person I have envisioned for myself, who themselves are working towards building a better future rather than living in the past.

  1. I watched a movie a while back that spoke about how it’s unfair to put too much pressure on that ‘special somebody’. We have all kinds of relationships in our lives, friends you talk to every day, colleagues who help you with work, coffee buddies, family friends and so many more, How can you expect one person to be all of that?

When you expect your girlfriend/boyfriend to be all of those people for you you’re putting the pressure of numerous people on just one person. Expecting too much from everyone or that ‘special someone’ has never faired anyone well. You wouldn’t enjoy that pressure yourself so why put someone else through the same?

3. PEOPLE CHANGE, whether it might be for the better or worse but yes people do change! My brother once told me that as a person grows they are going to thrive with time, and that change isn’t always going to be good for all the people around them. Some people might be happy with the change while others upset, but you just have to learn to respect the changes in a person and let them grow.

Up until pretty recently, I used to believe that everyone really is nice, that people make mistakes and do bad things not because they are bad but because of the situation they were put in.

For so long I believed that everyone has a kind heart and the best thing to always do is forgive and forget, but over 2020 and this year I have learned that not everyone in your life is here to stay, and that’s okay! People make rational conscious decisions and forgiving and forgetting isn’t always the best way through. Instead of being troubled over the loss of a person in your life be glad for what they have taught you. Everyone’s growing and the ones that are meant to stay, always will.

XOXO.

  1. Your blog really impressed me and ofc I do agree with the things you just said about the changes in the people but I just wanna share that isn’t that life about ? New changes new people new experiences new goals and everyone got up’s nd downs in der life its just how one deals with it and overcomes that particular thing. And sometimes things go wrong in life all you do is talk to someone well if u take my suggestion talk to some stranger take his/her point of view nd then talk to someone whom you know you will always see the difference that the one you are closed too will always keep you safe whereas with talkin to a stranger it will help you to bring the best out of yourselves coz they might know something which you don’t know nd it will help you to extend your boundaries to bring out best in yourself

    1. Yes! Life is all about accepting the changes in people and circumstances and you are right when you say that the people close to you are always going to take your side no matter how honest they try to be!! Opening up about your problems to a stranger is going to show you a completely different perspective and sometimes that is exactly what you need!

      1. Well, If one just want to find the the best in themselves they gotta stop limiting themselves and that can only happy if u wish to go beyond the boundaries nd push yourself no matter how bad it is at the end of the day, nd also one gotta stay patient.
As you write so well I am sure u must have heard this thing that the pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity whereas the optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty and as u said earlier that there have been instances where you have realised that not all people wishes good for you all I can tell you in short that when you on journey of becoming the best version of yourselves dont let yesterday take up too much today just avoid and move forward and ofc it does feel bad when something which we didn’t expect happens by someone or we get affected by somethings all we gotta do is just stand up again and grind again and do not let that thing or person affect you hold your vision nd trust the process.

      2. Well, Keep up your good work you are doing extremely brilliant 👏 and as you had said earlier about how few people stay in our lives nd how some of them don’t stay when we have high expectations from them well I gotta say is that when you just rephrase the word hope coz accordin to my dictionary it means HOPE – Hold on, Pain ends. And as I read ur blogs it did give me a vibe that you surely wanna achieve allot in future so just one piece of advice if you want to fly, give up everything that weighs you down it also includes people but just dont give up on ur vision on ur goal coz its okay to outgrow people who don’t grow, Grow tall anyways
